This remarkable book is a synthesis of Eastern and Western perspectives of the ancient phenomenon known as Kundalini awakening, including 23 case studies drawn from the literature and personal interviews with individuals who have lived this experience. Dr. Greenwell has identified 7 categories of phenomena that occur following the awakening of Kundalini, and offers both historical perspective and modern guidance for those who have engaged this energy and need help with integration. The book is based on classical teachings as well as modern experiences and is written with clarity and understanding of the emotional and psychic life of people in this deep process of awakening.
